"Dress Up" Scriptures - A Fun Scripture Activity For Sunday School

Enjoying "dress up" was my variety one favorite thing to do after I was a kid. Perhaps that's why I love props and costumes so much today. Well, the Bible is stuffed with great costumes. You only have to know where to look.
For this fun activity, you'll want a willing participant to be the model - maybe Mom or Dad or Teacher or some kid who is willing to be a smart sport. You will wish to collect all of the items listed below that correspond with every Scripture. Place all this stuff during a bucket or pile. Currently, let the youngsters take turns choosing a Scripture reference. They can then browse it from the Bible and will then have to choose what prop or costume best signifies the verse. Once they decide, they then proceed to place the item on the model. Eventually, once the model is sporting all the props, he or she should look pretty goofy. Might I remind you this might be a good moment for a picture.

Psalm 119:18 speaks of the eyes, therefore use glasses for the prop.

Proverbs half dozen:20-twenty one speaks of the neck, thus use a scarf or necktie for the prop.
Daniel six:ten speaks of the knees, thus use knee pads for the prop.
