A Short Jamorama Review

By: Mike Wong

If you have spent any time searching for the best guitar courses online, you will quickly find that there are hundreds of different guitar courses on the market. Some are software based, while others are online only. These courses are all of varying quality and the most difficult part is choosing the best guitar course for you. Based on my experiences though, I want to share with you a course that has worked well for me called Jamorama.

In this Jamorama review, I am going to go over my favorite parts of Jamorama. Jamorama uses a unique system to teach guitar by putting together software, video lessons and fun games to help you learn more effectively. The course is well suited for beginners, but by the time you finish the course, you should be able to play the guitar like a pro.

All of Jamorama's 148 lessons are downloadable so you can practice at any time that is convenient for you. The videos are all professionally made, and the practice exercises are fun and effective. Some of the topics you will learn include how to read guitar chords and play progressions, reading guitar tabs and guitar notation, and rhythmic strumming techniques, just to list a few.

I really enjoyed the Jamorama Jam Tracks. The 26 different Jam Tracks offer a wide range of musical styles like country, jazz, rock, hip-hop and blues. They are an excellent method to improve your guitar technique. It really immerses you in your training and you feel like you really are practicing with a real band.

You will also enjoy the extra bonus software included with the Jamorama guitar course. I like using the GuitarEarIt software which teaches you how to transcribe songs from the radio or your own CDs. Jayde Musica Pro is a cool game that makes the normally boring task of reading music fun.

Jamorama is only $39.95 and comes with a full 60 day money back guarantee. Jamorama creator, Ben Edwards is a very good guitar teacher and you will learn a lot from this course. Jamorama will teach you the fundamentals and you will be playing your favorite guitar songs in no time.
