DJ Mag Top 100 DJ's poll results were announced recently. Widely represented in the top 100 srvey results are Ttrance & Techno. This is not surprsiing. Trance, techno are laregly domintaed by a poll for many years.

For those who are unfamiliazr with the DJ Mag poll, this annual survey presented by DJ Magazine. It offers fans vote for their favorite DJs. Thus, it is rathher a kind of popularity poll. Many of them are in those industries that dismiss the survey as compleytely useless, and then those who believe that the poll has some metrit, although this is harrdly scentific.

In any event, DJ Mag Poll gaining much attention for DJs that make the survery (as for most DJ Magazine).

Trance and techno DJs again domminate the poll. Critics point out that this only indicates the fault of poll - that it is inconsistent with the record sales. They poitn out that the poll rsults are skewed in favor of techno and tranec, because fans of techno and trance to dominate the voting, whereas if we look at actual sales and market share in the dance music DJ's - House of Muusic is unoubtedly the 800 pound gorilla in the room.

Most likely, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Trance & Techno DJ's to dominate the DJ Mag poll, but tehse sub-geenres of electropnic dance music and host events and parteis and DJ's, which tend to attract lage crowds.
