One of the simplest and cheapest is a wonderful day out and about taking in the sights. Don't forget to take a camera so you can begin creating beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. A family-run restaurant like Villa Mosconi Restaurant, located on Macdougal Street in Greenwich Village, is an excellent starting place. The friendly atmosphere and dimlit private setting of their main room is perfect for conversing with Mom. Maybe your Mom will prefer their glass covered garden room with it's trattoria-like setting. Afterwards, take Mom for a stroll through gorgeous Greenwich Village. Ask Mom what's going on in her life. Make plans to get together the following month. Sometimes we forget that the roles soon begin to reverse and we have to start checking up on Mom the way she used to keep tabs on us. Time goes by so quickly in our stress filled lives. Let's never forget those who helped us get where we are. Thank you Mom.
