Article Marketing - What is it?

The first time I heard of 'Article Marketing' I was thinking, well what is this?
Writing articles?
How does writing articles about something and putting a link to your site at the bottom affect search engine ranking, position or help with ones Search Engine Marketing efforts at all
Right now, I can see new SEO hungry individuals looking a me saying "?Oh you mean, like, keyword stuffing everything I can about SEO, Search Engine Optimizations, SEM, Search Engine Marketing, Getting Top 10 Google Rankings, finding Ways to get Top Search Engine Rankings on Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing and other major Search Engines by the keywords I put in this article?"
Yes, well, sorta. But not too many!
You see now that I got your attention, please pause for a moment, scroll down to the bottom of this article and look at my link. Please come back here, I have more to say.

Ok see, I have served my purpose and succeeded in what I was trying to accomplish in writing this article. You may go now.
Just kidding!
The point is simply this:
1) Article marketing allows you to write about something you know about.
2) Wise marketers write about something related to their website they are promoting.
3) They make dang certain it is useful, clear, readable and redistributable.
4) They do include links and keywords. In this case I am marketing the website Top 10 Google Rankings (DOT NET!) and hence the title - Article Marketing.
5) They don't over-stuff keywords. But the keywords are there as a natural part of the information provided.
6) All in all the article is short, brief and helpful.
I can go on, but I believe you have enough information to get the point what article marketing is about.
Now, how do we make it efficient?
Simple, have a plan. Write short articles daily, perhaps even with out the intention of any major distribution, maybe just on a blog. Then re-write the articles until they are relatively polished.
Keep in mind; you want to begin to be as efficient as you can with your article marketing and search engine marketing efforts as soon as you can.
Over an above that, you'll need the tools - either subscription based or software based to publish and distribute you articles in bulk - but never spam anything, anywhere, in any way.
So with that you should have a good idea of what us article marketers are about. There are plenty of resources available online to help you with your article marketing efforts and now that we are again close to the bottom of this article I am sure you can get the hint as to where you can find more tips, advice and resources to help you with your article marketing efforts to get top Google search engine rankings for what every website you are tasked to promote
