Can A Wickless Candle Save Your Life

Candles are a little invention that everybody has loved, and it's been this way since wax was first formed around a wick. That doesn't mean, however, that candles were the safest invention. When using candles you have to constantly be on your guard, making sure they are not too close to paper, furniture, curtains, kids, pets, the walls, the cupboards? pretty much anything that could potentially be flammable. So while they were and still are a great invention, there are a few kinks that need to be worked out, mostly regarding safety. Fortunately for the many candle lovers out there, a safer candle has been created, a wickless candle. Wickless candles have been specifically designed to be a safer option for those of us who love the sight and smell of burning candles, but are not willing to run the risk of using them. But what are the actual benefits of a wickless candle and are they a comparable replacement to the real thing?
The first and most obvious reason to use a wickless candle is for the flameless result. You will never have to worry about the candle burning down your house. Flameless candles are completely safe no matter where you put them. If you want to set one on the windowsill, next to your curtains, you won't need to worry about the flame catching the curtains on fire. The same thing applies for paper, furniture, the walls, cupboards? again, anything that's flammable.
Wickless candles are also wonderful to use around children or small pets. It's not uncommon for a child to get too close to a candle and burn himself, or knock it over and set fire to the carpet. With the wickless option a child literally cannot set anything on fire and typically the wax that melts isn't hot enough to seriously hurt the child. Your pets will also be safe. If they get too close the flame won't catch on their fur. In fact, the worst they would be able to do is spill a little wax.
With a candle you also have to worry about the smoke from the flame causing black streaks up your walls or cupboards because it's been set too close. This is not a safety hazard, but it is unsightly. Wickless candles obviously get rid of this problem. No matter how close they are to anything, they will not cause streaks anywhere.
But the real question is how do wickless and wick candles compare? The answer is, wonderfully! Wickless candles use a low watt bulb to create the ambience of a candle. The bulb also melts scented wax, which gives off a heavenly aroma, even better than a wax candle. Wickless candles are the perfect, safe replacement for candles. Too many of us have given up the use of candles for safety. Now we don't have to. That problem has been solved.
