The objectives should be distintly stated rather than providing ambiguous concepts. Since grants are so hard to obtain, ensure you provide the grantor all the information that are required. After all, they have an entitlement to know what they are giving money for. Provide information on who will use the money, on what or for what purpose, why it will be spent, and what will be the advantages.
2. Ensure your proposal does not include any spelling, grammatical or typographical errors.
3. Take all the time you need to estimate the actual amount of money that will be required since you want to be as correct as possible.
4. There are normally guidelines governing the process of grant proposals and these must be strictly obeyed because you would not want to jeopardize your application being disqualified. For example, if you are instructed to request in person do not post the application.
5. It is a good suggestion to research on the people or institution that is supplying the grant. By doing so, you will become knowledgeable of what they are looking for.
