Welcome to Greenhill Lodge Day Nursery. We are located off the Birmingham Road in Sutton Coldfield and cater for all children from birth to five years and accomodate kids with special needs. We have formed, together with our enthusiastic staff, a joyful, cheerful and secure surroundings in beautiful and friendly environment.

We organize settling in sessions to help you and your baby to become known with both the staff and day nursery surroundings. Our main concern is to make sure that you and your child are delighted, and will work with your requirements as suitable we can. We enjoy working in close alliance with parents keeping them well up to date about the daycare and their baby's progress. Frequent workshops are organised to make available you with opportunities to get involved within the nursery school and meet other moms.

We organise frequent Moms group meetings which will provide you the chance to come into pre school and discuss your infant’s progress. You will also be able to read the observations and assessments that would have been carried out all the way through their time at nursery school. When your child leaves nursery to go to school, you will be given a profile with samples of their work, observations and assessment records.

The wellbeing of each baby is of vital importance to us, which is why we control who is coming in and out of the day nursery at all times. All staff have been CRB checked and are either qualified or working towards their qualifications in childcare.

Our baby unit is designed for six babies at any one time. It has a separate sleeping area as well as a changing room. The staff offer a variety of play experiences to increase and care for each preschooler. We have thoroughly selected a varied collection of stimulating toys and apparatus to entertain and stimulate your baby all the way through the day. We send home daily a diary that shows you what they have eaten, had to drink, how long they have slept and of course what they have been getting up to!

Here is where we have the 1 - 2 year olds. As this age unit is becoming mobile, we have equipped this room with fabulous soft play areas for them to safely get around without getting up to mischief! We also have sleeping quarters and an eating / messy play area to keep them stimulated. Nearby is a independent changing room on hand. A diary of what they have been getting up to is given each day for you to keep an eye on what they have eaten, had to drink and how long they have slept.

We can cater up to twelve 2 - 3 year olds at any one time. This room is a fun and brightly decorated place where the children use stimulating apparatus to increase their skills.
Kids enjoy and pick from a good quality range of relevant resources and activities. They have the confidence and abilities to initiate their own play and do so with ease as they move around their play room selecting what they want to play with. Ofsted Report October 2009

Our pre school unit is a open spacious plan room which can take up to 16 3 - 5 year olds. Staff give a range of activities, play opportunities and apparatus to make available the kids the right start for mainstream school. We have a classroom like theme, catering for the six areas of learning, such as a science area, I.T area, library area, art and craft area and a home corner providing exciting possibilities for kids to explore.
