Promoting Your Website for the Scared, Broke Newbie!!!!!!!

If you are reading this article it is because………never mind we know why you are here. I am going to give you tips, tricks and insight on promoting your website on the Internet.
The first step is to take a deep breath and relax. I know you are excited and you want to get out there and take over the world but slow down for a second……(it is very good to be excited about what you are doing and I encourage it!!! J)
You want to know how to get your website noticed and you have little to zero budget. No problem as long as you have lots and lots of time!! Don’t get down thinking that you are either going to have to spend thousands of hours or dollars to get your site noticed. I am going to try and meet you in the middle. As long as you are sincere about your dream and put some effort into it.
We are all familiar with the saying “Speed cost money. How fast do you want to go?� It is no different with your Internet business. You can achieve high Google rankings and drive thousands of visitors to your site if you have a ton of money to experiment. TRUST me I have wasted a tone of money on all type of paid advertising. Yes I saw results but the conversion rates were not that good because of all the competition.
So how do you get noticed on a budget? I am going to tell you the truth. It is possible and it is possible to do it quick, however you are going to give up some of your free time in exchange for not paying out the nose for advertising.
The first way is to find free search engine submission and directory submissions. This should be your first step. Just Google free website submission, there are a ton of them.
The second step is to start writing articles! Yep that’s right just like the one you are reading now. Whatever your website is I assume you have a passion for it. So write about it! The big search engines love articles and they will link them right to your site! This will also help you get back links. Back links are a big topic that I will go into in another article but they are very important to your success. I use to be shy about writing articles. Don’t be! There is always going to be someone who knows more than you (fact of life) there are going to always be the people live for criticizing you. DON’T worry about it. Write about what you know and be honest. Now that you know you have to write article you need to know that one submission will not help you. You have to distribute or publish your article in hundreds of locations. This will take you days unless you have software to use that will distribute for you. On my website I have provided the article publisher I use. It works great and it is very cheap.
