Most of you must be of the view that there is no difference between running shoes and trainers. Well, this is a misconception. A clear cut difference exists between the two. Whenever you are going out for playing any physical game, you do not really bother about the kind of shoes you are wearing because you do not know which shoes is right for which activity. If you are out for shopping in a mall, you will see that there is a considerable degree of variety for shoes which are specified for a particular activity. There you will come to know that running shoes are not the same as trainers.

Normally it happens that when we wear running shoes while we are going for a walk, running or jogging but when we are off to a gym, we opt to wear trainers. This may sound a bit confusing but the following paragraphs will let go off any ambiguity.

Running shoes are in particular meant for running purpose. The features of running shoes are crafted in such a way that they take good care of your foot and leg muscles while you are enjoying running. Also because while running the maximum pressure is put on our heels and this pressure travels to our toes; and help us in running smoothly.

Running shoes are further designed to absorb in your body weight up to three times. There is always a curve on the front tip of your running shoes; this curve is quite helpful in giving you a smooth running. The toes of the running shoes are marginally lifted up; this feature assist in forward movement.

In contrast, the trainers are regarded as all rounders because of their ability to serve a number of various purposes. They are designed in a manner which not only helps you in moving forward gently but also assure that support is provided laterally. The trainers come with a cushioned sole which helps in protecting your feet from any injury.

Trainers offer essential grip and support to your feet from all sides. While you are working out at gym, you will be required to life heavy weight. Trainers offer essential stability while you are bearing weight on your shoulders. Because trainers are not durable and not as comfortable as running shoes therefore, they are not recommended for running. However, you can wear them while playing cricket, badminton and tennis.
