Skin is not only the most visible part of our body, but it is largest. You will surely like to look beautiful. Skin is also the mirror of your internal health. When you are having a healthy body, you will also have skin which is healthy and young to look at. Many internal health problems contribute to the formation of acne, color deviations, and a variety of skin connected problems. Skincare thus should begin with the internal health of the body. As the saying goes, what we eat makes the person in us. Since our diet influences the way we look, we should change our menu, to keep our skin lustrous. ?
The body requires proteins, carbohydrates, and to some extent fats for a balanced nutrition. But these things can also have ill-effects on our health, especially when you eat large quantity than essential. Though our health depends on protein, if you take it in combination of fatty acids or saturated fats, your health will be at a risk. You can be sure of being harmed through excessive usage of red meat products like bacon, beef and sausage which will affect your skin, causing wrinkles, and prematurely aging symptoms. Trans-fatty acids are replete in dairy products and hydrogenated oils, though not harmful, don't consume them regularly. Stop using them for some time and you will see the effects on your skin.
Don't give up carbohydrates completely, through some foods might have carbohydrates in bad combinations which can spike the glucose levels. When there is lots of glucose in the blood, skin can react through inflammations. Sudden raise in glucose levels can be attributed to use of raisins, pasta, etc. Beans and legumes are good, but don't use canned or baked beans which contain elements to shoot up the glucose levels. Although beans and other legumes contain vitamins and beneficial minerals, baked and canned beans are prepared with ingredients that affect glucose levels badly.
Don't use high glycemic foods, like sugar, full fat ice cream, etc. Such food can trigger acne. Food containing low glycemic index is healthy for your body. Low glycemic foods are natural fruits, vegetables, grains etc. Being a veggie has plenty of benefits to your health. Here again, don't use too many cooked vegetables, as they tend to lose nutrients while cooking. Though some snacks like chips, French fries etc. are vegetable based, but they are not a choice for good health.
Similarly keep away from alcohol, as it is harmful to the skin because it dehydrates the body. When you lose more fluids, your skin will become dry and dry skin is instrumental in causing wrinkles, itching and premature aging. Moreover if you are drinking as a habit, liver can be endangered and that will have overall impact on your health, and health of the skin in particular, bringing a number of problems.
I f you have been taking some harmful food regularly, it is not advisable to stop them all of a sudden. You have to steadily give up this food. It is all dependant on your lifestyle habits, and a good lifestyle will give you health and a lustrous skin. If you are not a regular consumer of these food, the will be by and large harmless. Though each one of us reacts differently , to ensure healthy skin, change your dietary habits. .
