Toronto Fashion Week Shows Women's Tunic Tops

By: Jeffery Holter

Boho styles continue to have a significant presence in the world of emerging designers, as evidenced by Toronto's LG Fashion Week, which began on March 28th, 2010. The show featured fall and winter collections by a wide variety of Canadian and international designers, drawing on myriad inspirations and influences from all over the globe. The typical boundaries of time and geographical trends seemed to fly out the windows of Toronto's Allstream Centre, as designers displayed retro 60s era glam, rustic chic, and everything in between.
Canadian designer Lucian Matis, a finalist from the television series "Project Runway Canada," delivered an extravagant display of eye candy on the runway. Matis's parade of eye-popping pieces featured rich prints and golden brown hues with luxurious details. The collection of elaborate, sculptural designs was complemented by more pared-down designs including printed boho tunic tops and peasant blouses, chic button-down jackets, and a diagonally tied trench coat. While Matis's collection was certainly replete with impressive and ambitious pieces, his real-world women's boho tops were perhaps more indicative of the coming seasons' department store trends.
Fortunately, you don't have to be part of the Canadian fashion scene to embrace boho fashion, and getting your hands on some unique and fashionable women's boho tops has never been easier! FashionUndercover puts world style right at your fingertips, offering chic boho tunic tops like the charming Razia Long Chambray Tunic.
