I am not a fan of Russia, but I do enjoy go on a tour to Russia every few years or so. I like to observe its troubling history and unique culture. I like to observe how this country is getting up from its knees from decades of communist yoke. I have a lot for people who live in Moscow or St Petersburg as they have so much a stone's throw away.
However, I don't regret spending a little bit of money to see one of the world's greatest destinations. To me, being on a Russian train that carries you from Moscow to St Petersburg is so much more than going to the Dominican Republic for a vacation. In fact, my favorite trip was when I went to Russia when I and my friends traveled on a Russian train. I recommend going to Russia. It's like no other.
