Vegetables and the mustard effect can cure cancer 50% of the time

By: J Kloeg

Vegetables can cure cancer-the Mustard Effect
Some scientists claim that their studies show that some vegetables can not only prevent cancer but in many cases they can cure it. They said that scientific studies have shown that fifty percent of the women who contract cancer are cured by eating mustard and/or other members of the mustard family.
Members of the mustard family include mustard itself as well as broccoli, cauliflower, bok choy, cabbage and Brussels sprouts.
If the person who is being challenged by cancer feels that he or she really can't stand the idea of eating these vegetables, then go for mustard sandwiches, they really are good or if all else fails, eat mustard right out of the jar, I don't believe it can hurt and it just might help.
You also might use these vegetables as a garnish or topping for some other food item if you find that they are too challenging to eat on their own.
The medical professionals who recommend this form of treatment claim that the reason that members of the mustard family are so effective in fighting cancer is because of the presence of indole-3-carbinol which is a natural part of glycobrassicin which is found in all members of the mustard family of vegetables. Indole-3-carbinol fights directly against cancers that form in the reproductive tissues, especially those in women. These medical professionals claim that it cures breast cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, and all other cancers which attack the sexual tissues sex hormones, especially those in women.
The United States Food and Drug Administration has not approved of this as a recognized possible cure for cancer. They have not disapproved of it, but rather are waiting until more tests and studies have been done to see what the conclusions from those tests and studies will show.
Now before you go running for the nearest mustard pot, remember, this is simply the idea of one group of medical professionals, other medical groups may claim differently. Talk with your doctor, make your decisions intelligently. If mustard and other vegetables are a part of your fight to rid your body of cancer or to help you to help a loved one with cancer to be cured, do it intelligently. Use vegetables as a part of a medically recommended battle against cancer. Give yourself or your loved one the best defensive battle against cancer you possibly can come up with and as it is used in this way may the mustard effect be effective.
