EARRINGS~
purchase glass beads in bulk the colors of the wedding
purchase wired earring findings in bulk
purchase small cello bags and ribbon
1. place beads onto the earring findings in desired color formation
2. place earrings into bags and tie w/ ribbon
WINE GLASS CHARMS~
purchase glass beads in bulk the colors of the wedding
purchase a roll of 18 ga. wire
1. cut wire into 3 1/2" pieces with snips or side cutters
2. place beads onto wire in the desired order or color
3. w/ needle nose pliers bend each end of the wire in opposite directions to all the charm to hook closed
MINI BOTTLES OF WINE~
purchase 2 oz. decorative glass bottles
purchase corks to fit
purchase wine
purchase card stock in desired color for tags
purchase ribbon
hand-write tags or print from the computer w/ the couples names and date of wedding. Punch with a hole punch and thread ribbon through the hole.
1. fill bottles with wine (a funnel works wonders)
2. top with a cork
3. add tag with ribbon around the neck of the bottle.
VOTIVE CANDLES~
purchase votive candles
purchase tulle
purchase ribbon
1. cut tulle into 8" squares
2. place candle on the square and bring up the sides to cover the candle and tie w/ ribbon
SACHET PILLOWS~
purchase silk materials in assorted colors and patterns
purchase dried lavender
purchase silk ribbon
1. cut the silk into 4 1/2" squares
2. place two 4 1/2" square from the same material right sides together and sew around 3 sides.
3. turn right-side out and fill w/ lavender
4. whip-stitch closed
5. tie 3 sachets together with the ribbon and form a bow at the top
HOMEMADE COOKIES
purchase cookie cutters in desired shapes (heart, bell, wedding gown, flower)
1. decorate cut-out sugar cookies and place into cellophane bags
2. tie w/ ribbon
cookie recipe
1 1/2 c. sifted 10x sugar
1 c. margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
*cream above ingredients together
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tarter
*mix and add to above ingredients
Refrigerate for 3 hours before cutting
Bake at 375 degrees for 7-8 minutes
frosting
2 Tb. butter
1/2 t. vanilla
1 1/2 c. 10x sugar
1 Tb. warm milk
1 drop of food coloring
*paint onto cooled cookies
