Most newspapers are dominated by the reports of corruption, crimes, rapes, murders and all varieties of injustice committed by man against man. Such instances fill our mind with despairs. We have a tendency to begin suspecting different personalities as we tend to find them difficult to be trusted. We tend to can't trust our spouses since we read the news of people killing their spouses and committing infidelities. We have a tendency to can't trust our friends as treachery has become thus common in news. We have a tendency to concern friends and believe in what Oscar Wilde said, "True friends stab you within the front." You can't trust your children as they'll ditch you at your previous age.

But, if the newspapers reports the instances of extreme goodness, people may not like it since it will build them feel small compared to them. They may not obtain such newspapers or watch such news channels that show goodness. Since these news media is depended upon the popularity of the news, they prefer to indicate the dark aspect of the globe so that everyone can feel good.
However, the worst issue in evil reporting is that most folks stop getting the news of the human goodness that remains unreported. They soon begin believing that they too can commit a lot of evil as it absolutely was so common. This makes the globe gradually more evil and crime more prevalent in such free media societies.
Life is a mystery that can not be explained either by science or by scriptures. Truth incorporates a body and a soul which we have a tendency to call science and religion. Contrary to common perception, they are not opposed to every other but complement every different like body and soul. In fact, they can not exist while not each other.
